Shannon Larian is both creative and practical, both an idealist and a rational. She loves to write poetry, to intellectualize philosophy, and to educate herself in current events and political musings.

A millennial by birth and by passion, Shannon looks to leave the world better than when she first entered in 1995. She has played roles (big and small) in several philanthropic efforts for nonprofit organizations including The Citizens’ Empowerment Center in Israel, the Hadassah Hospital in Israel, and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Shannon is a graduate of the Maher Fellowship, a subsidiary of nonprofit organization 30 Years After. She and other fellows are currently working on a project to share “taboo” information with the Iranian Jewish community in Los Angeles.
